2 Ways you can pamper yourself after a busy day

The roles of mother have drastically changed through time. Mothers used to have the option to stay at home and focus on raising kids but now times have changed due to several factors like the rising prices of commodities , inflation etc., one source of income is no longer enough forcing mothers to do part time or full time jobs in order to sustain the family. When I try to balance everything I ended up getting tired and stressed. Work and life balance is never easy. In Japan they have this word as “zeitaku” which means luxury, I remembered one time my boss from my previous work asked each one of his employees what our zeitaku was I could not answer as I don’t have one so he explained to us how it can also be helpful for our mental health to at least treat ourselves after a days work. From that moment I knew about the concept I tried one way, first is hot bath soaking at night using Japanese bath salts. I personally loved the forest scent as it feels like I am doing a shinrin-yoku or forest bathing which is a Japanese practice to relax and calm the mind.

Second thing I’d like to do to pamper myself is to use a steam eye mask I personally love the brand Kao MEGURISM Health Care Steam Warm Eye Mask it relieves and relaxes my tired eyes after doing a days work.

While doing our daily task could feel tiring we also must try to find the time to pamper our selves because we deserve it.
